Park & Ride

Park & Ride facilities are free parking lots for vanpools and carpools to meet up before commuting in to work. The Alabama Department of Transportation operates two Park & Ride lots that commuters coming into the Birmingham region may use.

Park & Ride lots:

• Blount County Park & Ride Lot (located north of Birmingham on I-65 at Exit 284)
• Chilton County Park & Ride Lot (located south of Birmingham on I-65 at Exit 219)

Future Park & Ride lots are being planned and will be available in the near future.
